We spent hours looking for the perfect holiday print. When I saw these gumdrop ribbons, I knew it was the one. Whimsy meets classic holiday joy in this sweet pattern. Perfect for decorating gingerbread houses that you can never get the gumdrop roof decor on straight or snuggling by the fire. We love Gumdrop Grumbles and will be wearing it for years to come.

This size fits most dogs, and optionally cats (just be careful since there’s no quick release!). All you have to do is fold it for smaller dogs! When folded into a triangle, the diagonal is 28.75” long! 

Made of the same buttery soft material as our clothes, these are sure to be your pups new favorite! I’ve been in the pet industry for most of my life, trust me when I say these are GREAT!

We recommend machine washing cold zipped up + inside out, and tumble drying low OR hang drying. Like all garments, hang drying is best for longevity, but drying is more than fine, we do it in our house.

Flexible fold over waist

Have you ever worn leggings with an elastic band at the top? It's the worst, most uncomfortable thing. If I'm going to be lounging, sleeping or literally anything, I want to be COMFORTABLE. Same goes for littles. The waist does not have a harsh elastic band, instead, it is a doubled section of fabric that can be folded down! This allows for a flexible fit on soft, growing bellies and ultimate comfort.

Tag-free inside

You know the feeling of having a large tag moving around against your skin? It's not ideal, especially for sleep. That's why we try to keep the inside of our garments as smooth as possible, which means we have no interior tags. This keeps our garments comfortable for the most sensitive kiddos and makes them sensory friendly!

Chronic Pain Friendly

As a mom with hypermobility, chronic pain and illness, I struggled with confidence dressing my baby. I was so worried to pull non-stretch cotton over her legs, I was scared I would hurt her or myself. Creating outfits that have loads of stretch without compromising on structure allowed me to feel confident on my days alone, it helped ease the anxiety telling me I could not handle this.

I’ve never heard of TENCEL™ Lyocell, is it actually soft?

10000% yes! I understand being skeptical of new things, especially when they’re for your little one! But new things are often SO worthwhile. I honestly think they’re softer than most bamboo my baby has. Buttery soft to the max! 

What certifications does your factory have? 

Here are some of the certifications our factory holds: Lenzing, Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX, GOTS, WRAP & BSCI. 

Have you actually compared your product to “bamboo” baby clothes?

We have! We purchased pieces from leading and smaller brands to compare quality, sizing, softness, stretch, breathability, look and overall comfort. We were honestly nervous our dream creation wouldn’t hold up to the competition, but they were better than we ever could’ve imagined. 

Do your items meet CPSC guidelines?

They do indeed! Our garments are tested to meet CPSC guidelines for non tight fitting sleepwear. What that means is there is additional flammability testing done! Out of an abundance of caution, we’ve labeled these styles with a snug fit warning, for an extra layer of protection. The tight fitting measurements given by the CPSC are typically smaller than most consumers want, which is why we opted for more flexible sizing and more testing. 
Rest easy knowing your Bird’s Nest Baby was made with your little ones safety & comfort in mind. 

How does sizing run?

Zippys are on the larger size! They’re what other companies say are true to size WITH room to grow (RTG). Our sets are more true to size, still allowing room to grow with fold over feets & a fold over waist.

Our fit is designed for longevity, so we recommend sticking with your babes true size if you want them to wear your new items ASAP. All sizing is flexible though, they’ll fit your little one for a long time, and your next babe or whoever you pass them along to. Want personalized sizing help? Contact us!

It’s hot out, are your clothes suitable?

In most cases, yes! Without knowing the specifics of your situation we can’t make a guarantee. TENCEL™ Lyocell is known for its breathability and absorption. It is thin enough for hot days and substantial enough for the cold! Every child is different, please monitor them to ensure overheating does not occur in any situation.   

Is Bird’s Nest Baby a real company?

Yes! We are an LLC in California. 

Do you have resources to back up your claims about viscose made from bamboo aka bamboo rayon?

Of course! No fear mongering or misinformation here. This is our entry on the detriments of the material, all of our sources are linked in the article. 

Where is Bird’s Nest Baby made?

Bird’s Nest Baby is designed in Los Angeles by our wonderful founder Elsa(I am based though since I am her) and ethically produced in China

Why might there be some variation from garment to garment?

Simply put, our clothes are all made by humans! There is a slight seam allowance because we are not machines. This does not take away from your garment in any way. 

How long until I get my order?

For ready to ship items: we ship same business day. We always aim for same day, we quote more just incase. For preorders, they will go out as soon as they arrive to me, please allow for standard processing time after their arrival. Standard shipping is 2-8 business days. Once your items leave our hands, they’re out of our control, that’s why we offer Route shipping protection. If you remove this from your order, we aren’t liable for packages that are lost. They are super easy to work with, if you need any assistance, reach out to us!
